“Though thy beginning was small, yet thy latter end should greatly increase” (Job 8:7)

Success comes by taking steps, however small. An old maxim states, “Little drops of water makes a mighty ocean.” A step at a time, if rightly taken in the right direction, gets you nearer and nearer to excellence. The elephant is a big animal which can only be eaten in bits.
Enormous success tasks, however tough or difficult, can be solved in parts by taking a little at a time. One step after another, the longest journey is ended. “Victory is won not in miles but in inches” says a writer; who further advises that “Win a ittle now, hold your ground, and later win a lot more”.
Prudence demands that you be at your best each moment you take steps, even small ones towards success. Courage to attempt greater tasks is received each time you tackle small ones.
You must have noticed that the rungs of a ladder, however tall, graduate from the lowest to the highest. You can only climb to the maximum height from the bottom, in rungs, stepping on them in turns. Don’t try to jump the steps. Small steps can be great secrets to success.
Get excited as you make progress (however small) on the way of success and move forward with enthusiasm to make more. Small tasks tackled are far better than great ones untried. It is better to do something no matter how small, than yo do nothing on great ideas.
Get started to take steps toward excellence. Standing still at a point takes you nowhere.

Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me to strive manfully for success as i take a step at a time.
